Dear Family and Friends
Please forgive this e-mail but there is so much that has happened over the last 48 hours it is impossible to speak to everyone on the phone. As some of you may know already and some hearing this for the first time(again sorry) Nicole is is in a highly critical state. She went into Westchester Medical on Thursday morning with a lung bleed that would not stop. After 24 hours of bleeding they had to try and save one lung, she was put on a respiratory and the left bleeding lung was collapsed. They only had two options; with drugs wait and see if it would stop on its own, our go in a remove the bleeding lobe...absolutely the last resort. After much intense prayer we prayed for the bleed to stop, Jesus answered us with a drug researched in France and yesterday after doing a bronchial scope the bleeding did stop. Now they allowed the airway tube to inflate the left lung again, it has been through trauma and slowly it is coming back. With that come many other complications...infection, sepsis in the blood, and limited function of her kidneys, elevated blood pressure etc.
Through this all Nicole has been sedated(thank you Jesus)the baby has been holding on but with these new complications and added drugs we are not sure if at 23 weeks he can take it. My prayer is if he is anything like the strong mother caring him, he will continue to fight as well.
We don't know how the next hours will be so the request is intense prayer to Mary and Jesus for a miracle for Nicole and baby. All of you love her and have watched her suffer through this disease, and finally see her joy in marriage and now motherhood. Please we beg for her life to continue with Robert and her son.
May almighty God hold her in his arms and heal her mind body and spirit. I will try and update in less detail when I can. Please do not come to the hospital, the trauma is to much to see everyone and keep up our strength for Nicole and Robert. Just pray like you never prayed before for the intervention she needs...no one deserves this suffering, least of all Nicole. But we trust is God's grace and he has helped her carry her cross before. This time we need more and we need the people who know and love her to help her carry it as well. She continues to fight with grace and dignity as the angel she is.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, God Bless you
Deb Lou Tina Pisani  Nicole Robert and baby Frame
